The counting of ballots cast at diplomatic missions commenced today at 4:00 PM at the Center for Counting and Results (CCR). Voting for Kosovo took place on April 6 across 30 diplomatic missions, one day preceding the elections within Kosovo. Out of the 27,724 registered voters, an estimated 81 percent, totaling 22,414 voters, participated in casting their ballots.
Following the conclusion of the count at each individual polling station, the collected data is being systematically transmitted to the Central Election Commission’s (CEC) official results platform. This centralized system allows for the aggregation of results from all participating locations. The process involves the tallying of votes cast by the diaspora through these international diplomatic missions.
The preliminary data feed can be monitored at the CEC’s designated results platform: https://resultsparliamentary2026.kqz-ks.org/Parliamentary Elections. The commencement of the official count signifies the formal tabulation of votes from the overseas electorate. This structured procedure ensures that the votes cast at the various missions are accurately recorded and integrated into the overall election results.
The transmission of data from each station is crucial to maintaining transparency throughout the final count process.
