19-year-old wanted on international arrest extradited from Serbia to Macedonia

Sait Saitov, aged 19, was extradited from the Republic of Serbia to the country today, June 24, 2026. He was sought on an international arrest warrant. According to the Ministry of Public Security (MPB), Saitov was wanted in connection with allegations of committing criminal acts related to “against the security of persons and property in communication” and “failure to render assistance to a person injured in a road accident.” These charges stem from a criminal-legal incident that took place in Skopje on January 9, 2026.

The MPB confirmed that upon his arrival, Saitov was placed under pre-trial detention. He has since been transferred to the Skopje Jail to undergo further legal proceedings. The extradition marks the formal transfer of the individual from Serbia to the jurisdiction handling the case.

Authorities are continuing with the legal process following his arrival.
