A brown bear was spotted inside a hotel in Nagqu, Tibet, on Saturday, leading to a notable incident captured on security camera footage. The footage showed the bear traversing a corridor within the establishment before forcibly entering a closed room occupied by two guests. According to reports from Telegrafi, the occupants of the room stated that they observed the bear for several seconds before it subsequently left the room on its own.
Following the intrusion, the hotel owner took measures to deter the animal. The owner reportedly utilized an electric pole and other tools to scare the bear, successfully driving it out of the hotel premises. The door that was affected by the bear’s entry has since undergone repairs.
In response to the incident, the hotel has announced plans to implement additional security measures aimed at preventing future encounters with wildlife. The incident highlights the proximity of wildlife to human habitation in the area.
