This advisory follows the publication of names associated with the 111th “Adem Jashari” Brigade and the 121st “Kumanova” Brigade by a group identifying as “Heart of the Heroes.”
This movement, which represents former personnel from the police and military forces involved in the conflicts within the former Yugoslavia, has made specific demands regarding the listed individuals. According to the group’s statements, they have called upon the Serbian Government and the Serbian Prosecutor’s Office for War Crimes to conduct thorough verifications of the published names.
The objective of this verification, they claim, is to determine if any listed individuals are implicated in war crimes. Furthermore, the “Heart of the Heroes” movement has requested international action. They have appealed to Interpol to issue international arrest warrants for members of the UÇK.
In parallel, the group has reportedly submitted lists of names to the police authorities of several European Union countries. The demands highlight an ongoing effort by various groups to establish accountability for actions taken during the conflicts in the region.
