The misuse demonstrated a rapid descent from creative application to the creation of disinformation. Examples of the fabricated images shared by users included depictions of specific objects and events that did not correspond to reality. Google subsequently deactivated the feature due to these widespread instances of misuse, indicating concerns over the potential for generating deceptive visual content.
