The Minister of Health, Azir Aliu, visited the recently reconstructed Health House facility in Kumanovë this morning. The site is situated within the “Tode Mendoll” neighborhood and underwent comprehensive renovations, specifically covering the entire ground floor area, which spans 250 square meters. This facility is a vital component of the local preventive health protection system, serving as the central point for administering school vaccinations across the community’s territory.
The investment aimed to significantly upgrade the physical infrastructure, thereby improving both the working conditions for staff and the accommodation for patients. For this major improvement, five million denars were allocated from the national budget. Furthermore, the project included the renovation of the facility’s courtyard, with an additional one million denars earmarked specifically for constructing necessary patient parking spaces.
The visit underscored the commitment to enhancing local healthcare services. Minister Aliu reviewed the completed upgrades, which are designed to support primary health care delivery. These improvements are intended to ensure that the community has modern and functional facilities to manage preventive care and routine medical services effectively.
The revitalization effort represents a substantial enhancement to the local public health infrastructure.
