The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has reiterated its call for the resumption of the constitutional session of the Kosovo Parliament. The PDK announced that proceedings were scheduled for today, Monday, August 24, to take place in the Parliament hall commencing at 11:00 AM. The PDK stated that an invitation was formally submitted to the presiding officer of the constitutional session, Avni Dehari, urging him to call the continuation of the session and advance the process of constitutional assembly.
According to the PDK’s statement, the ruling Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) has yet to issue a response to this invitation. Furthermore, the PDK noted that no reply had been received regarding previous requests to resume the parliamentary session. This procedural impasse follows the conclusion of the last session, which featured the Prime Minister.
The ongoing lack of response from the VV to the PDK’s calls for dialogue and continuation of constitutional work has become a point of focus within the political sphere. The PDK’s continued advocacy underscores its desire to move the legislative process forward within the framework of the Parliament.
