He stated that following the establishment of these guiding principles, the parties proceeded to discuss specific candidates and potential names. “As we stated previously, after reaching an accord on the principles for the presidency, today we continued our discussions on concrete names,” Abdixhiku reported. He elaborated that the candidates being considered were, to a substantial degree, aligned with the principles that had already been mutually agreed upon.
The Chairman characterized this stage of negotiations as a crucial preliminary step in the broader political transition.
