Diesel price increases in North Macedonia

The Energy, Water, and Waste Management Regulatory Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia (KRRE) has issued a directive detailing adjustments to the sale prices of various energy products. The commission announced that the average sale price for gasoline derivatives will see a reduction of 0.46% when compared to the rates established on June 1, 2026. Specific changes affect multiple fuel types.

Consumers will note a decrease in the prices for EUROSUPER BS-95 and EUROSUPER BS-98 gasoline, with each variety dropping by 2.00 denars per liter. Conversely, the cost of EURODIESEL (D-Е V) and Light Extra Oil for Lubrication (ЕL-1) are scheduled to increase by 1.50 denars per liter. Regarding diesel products, the M-1 SU diesel is set to decrease by 0.609 den/kg, establishing a new benchmark price of 47.297 den/kg.

These revised maximum prices for oil derivatives will take effect starting June 9, 2026, at 00:01. Under the new structure, EUROSUPER BS-95 will be sold at 86.00 denars/liter, while EUROSUPER BS-98 is also subject to new defined maximum sale rates. The commission’s decision aims to regulate the market rates for consumers and industry stakeholders across the energy sector.
