A neighbor alerted authorities to the discovery of a deceased man on Enver Buqa street, within the Arbana neighborhood of Prizren. Shaqir Bytyqi, the police spokesperson for the Prizren region, confirmed that the victim was a 53-year-old man who lived alone.
He was residing with his mother at the time of his death. Emergency teams swiftly arrived at the scene and subsequently confirmed his passing within his home. A police patrol immediately secured the area, establishing a perimeter for the investigation.
Following this, investigators from the Regional Investigation Sector began their examination of the circumstances. Bytyqi further stated that, after a thorough assessment of the location, and acting under the direction of the judicial guardian, the body was transported to the Forensic Medicine Institute for a comprehensive autopsy. The investigation remains active and ongoing as the police continue to gather information.
