The company Natyra SHPK has confirmed that it is maintaining uninterrupted waste cleaning operations across all villages within the Municipality of Podujevë. The company reported inheriting substantial quantities of accumulated waste from the previous service operator. According to documentation released by Natyra SHPK, the operational mandate expanded significantly on April 24, 2026, when the company assumed responsibility for 22 villages in Podujevë.
Following this transition, Natyra SHPK immediately commenced service provision, engaging with citizens through new contracts and establishing regular waste collection schedules. Further expanding its coverage, the company stated that it received official authorization from the Municipality of Podujevë on January 17 to extend services to every village within the municipality. Operations under this expanded mandate began on January 18, with teams actively working in the field.
Natyra SHPK noted that upon assuming control of the service area, several locations presented considerable challenges due to the significant accumulation of waste. The company continues to manage these inherited burdens while ensuring comprehensive and continuous sanitation services for the entire region, solidifying its commitment to maintaining public health standards through consistent waste management practices.
