Azir Aliu, a Shënëtis, has been awarded the 7th Prillin prize. This marks the first time a Shënëtis has received this honor in its category, a longstanding tradition held within the Shënimin and observed by the Shoqëria Mjekësore të Maqedonisë. The ceremony included a formal speech delivered in the traditional language.
Attendees recognized the significant achievement for Aliu and the broader role of Shënëtis within the medical profession. The award acknowledges Aliu’s contributions to the development of transplantology. During the event, Aliu stated, “The world is changing, and we must be prepared for the future.
