Former Croatian Defense Minister Ante Kotromanović has commented on Serbia’s armament and other security issues related to the region and the world. In an interview with N1, he discussed Kosovo, stating he believed Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić would have attacked it had the conflict between Russia and Ukraine progressed differently. Kotromanović highlighted a 2009 bilateral agreement between Croatia and Serbia for military-technical cooperation.
He noted that under this agreement, assistance was provided during floods and that approximately ten to fifteen diverse military exercises were conducted jointly. According to Kotromanović’s assessment, if Russia had achieved a significant victory in Ukraine within a month, Vučić would have initiated an attack on Kosovo.
