Aliu: Reconstructing the Government has no logic if we go to early elections

Minister of Health, Azir Aliu, stated that proceeding with significant governmental reconstruction and various national activities would be ill-advised should the nation face an early election cycle. Aliu advised that the coalition partners should concentrate their efforts on resolving all outstanding issues during the standard two-year period leading up to the scheduled general elections. He emphasized that several substantial challenges require focused attention and resolution.

According to Aliu, the scale of the planned changes and the expenditure of national energy would not be logical if the government were to prepare for an unscheduled electoral contest. He noted that the processes currently underway are designed to yield a greater positive impact on society, encompassing both economic stability and the general well-being of the citizenry. “It would not have been logical to undertake these changes and expend all this energy if we had planned for early parliamentary elections,” Aliu stated.
