A significant fire remains active in the Kavadar area, specifically in the region situated between the villages of Raec, Qesendre, and Drenovë. The blaze is consuming a forest characterized by low vegetation and low plant life. In other developments, several other localized incidents have been brought under control.
A fire that had engulfed a depot near the Teqe location, along the “Dibrane” road in Prilep, has been extinguished. Furthermore, a fire occurring between the villages of Shemshovë and Siriçinë within the Tearçe Municipality, where debris was burning, has been put out. Additionally, the fires in the villages of Glluvë and Mirkovcë in the Çuçer Sandeva Municipality, which involved dry grass, have also been controlled.
Stojançe Angellov, director at the Directorate for Protection, noted that the most severe incident reported yesterday was the fire on state territory developing in the Kavadar municipality. Angellov mentioned that the response to this particular fire involved the deployment of two air tankers and an Uhstris helicopter.
