Antonio Costa, the President of the European Council, is in Kosovo today as part of an ongoing tour of the Western Balkans. His itinerary has previously included visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tirana, and North Macedonia. Today, June 3rd, Costa is scheduled to spend time in Pristina.
During his visit, Costa is set to meet with several key political figures. His schedule includes a meeting with the acting president, Albulena Haxhiu, at 11:00 AM. Subsequently, he is scheduled to meet with the outgoing prime minister, Albin Kurti, at 11:40 AM.
The President of the European Council will also engage with the leaders of various other political parties. The diplomatic tour will continue the following day, June 4th, when Costa is scheduled to visit Belgrade. The European Council President’s engagement in the region will conclude in Montenegro.
There, President Jakov Milatović will host regional leaders for a concluding dinner event.
