ATK states that from January to June 2026, it will have more money than in 2025 and 2024.

The Tax Administration of Kosovo (ATK) reported a significant increase in revenues for the first half of 2026, surpassing the figures recorded in both 2025 and 2024. Mentor Hyseni, the Director of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, announced these findings during the semi-annual report presentation in Pristina on Friday. According to ATK, revenues rose by 14 percent during the period spanning January to June 2026.

Hyseni also noted that this revenue growth was accompanied by an increase in the frequency of inspections, field visits, and documented instances of fiscal evasion. The Director’s presentation detailed the financial performance, confirming that the revenue achieved during the first six months of 2026 exceeded the corresponding periods of the previous two years. Furthermore, the report indicated that value-added tax constituted over 37 percent of the total tax revenues generated.

Specific data regarding the number of inspections conducted was also presented by Hyseni.
