Basha stated that since becoming minister, the development of this particular road has been among his top priorities.
He noted that his efforts have included attending numerous meetings with supervisors and contract managers, conducting multiple site visits to observe issues directly, and meeting with every economic operator to identify solutions for each section of the project. The Minister indicated that following consultations with the operators, the Ministry is prepared to take decisive measures. Basha emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum on the road to ensure timely completion.
He stressed that all involved parties must commit fully to the agreed timelines to prevent further delays. The Ministry is committed to ensuring that the construction adheres to established standards and schedules, and will enforce compliance through necessary legal channels if required.
