Following the formal certification of the early parliamentary election results from April 7, two candidates from the Alliance party secured additional deputy mandates. These appointments were necessitated by the withdrawal of mandates previously held by Ardian Gjini and Daut Haradinaj. In the first instance, Bekë Berisha is set to assume the deputy mandate.
Berisha’s elevation is based on his position as the fifth candidate on the Alliance’s official list, a placement determined by the vote count. During the April 7 elections, Berisha garnered a total of 22,443 votes from the electorate. A similar mandate replacement occurred concerning Daut Haradinaj.
Burim Ramadani will take his place in Parliament, having been identified as the next candidate with the highest number of votes on that specific party list. Ramadani secured 20,101 votes in the election. The vote tabulation data for the AAK’s candidate list highlighted significant figures, including Ardian Gjini, who received 44,781 votes, alongside Ramush Haradinaj.
These procedural changes confirm the allocation of these seats based on the established electoral protocols following the initial count. The appointments solidify the representation of these individuals within the parliamentary structure.
