Canada, imam attacked outside the mosque

The National Council of Canadian Muslims has reported that the imam of the BCMA mosque in Victoria was attacked outside the premises. According to the council, Sheikh Ebrahim was in his vehicle following Friday prayers when an individual forcibly opened the car door and assaulted him. During the incident, the attacker reportedly shouted Islamophobic slurs and directed threats telling the imam to “return to his place.”
