Counting concludes in 9 centers, over 85,700 packages are withdrawn with statements from abroad

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has provided an update regarding the ongoing tabulation of election results for parliamentary candidates and various political entities. The commission announced that the process for tallying votes and verifying results from polling stations was scheduled to conclude by 4:00 PM. This verification step specifically pertains to forms that were completed at polling stations following the initial ballot counting procedures at the nine designated Municipal Counting Centers.

Current data indicates that the election process has reached a significant milestone in terms of processed materials. To date, a total of 38 Municipal Centers have been accounted for. These centers have contributed 902 processed votes out of a total recorded count of 2,498 votes, representing a processed percentage exceeding 36%.

The CEC emphasized that the rigorous counting procedure involves multiple stages to ensure the integrity of the electoral outcome. The verification of results is crucial for confirming the legitimacy of the submissions received from the polling stations across the various centers. Officials continue to work to incorporate data from all geographical areas to provide a comprehensive picture of the electorate’s choices.

Stakeholders are advised that the commission remains committed to transparency throughout the entire counting process. The continuous aggregation of votes from the various centers allows the CEC to systematically build a complete record. As the remaining centers complete their initial counting and submit their documentation, the overall tally of votes and the final results for the parliamentary candidates are expected to be finalized according to the established timeline.
