The Director of Education for the Municipality of Pristina, Arianit Elshani, has announced the commencement of a complimentary swimming lesson program designed for students attending the city’s public schools. The initiative specifically targets students within the age bracket of 9 to 11 years old. This educational undertaking was launched through a collaboration involving the Directorate of Sport and Sport Marketing.
In a statement regarding the launch, Elshani emphasized the importance of aquatic skills for the youth of the municipality, asserting that every student in Pristina should have access to the opportunity to learn how to swim. The structured program is scheduled to run from April 27 through August 21. All lessons will be held at the Gërmis Pool, providing a centralized location for the participating students.
