eSports Show in Dragash: Grand Final of the CS2 LAN Tournament “Sharri 5v5” Held on Sunday

The region’s largest esports competition, “Sharri 5v5,” is reaching its climax following two weeks of rigorous online play. The grand LAN final, which will feature physical participation, is scheduled for Sunday, April 5th, transforming the village of Bresanë within the Municipality of Dragash into the central hub for local esports activity. This event marks the third iteration of the highly anticipated tournament, organized by the Sharri eSports Club in partnership with the Municipality of Dragash, specifically through its Directorate for Culture, Youth, and Sport.

The journey to the finals commenced on April 22nd, where the qualifying phase utilized group and Swiss formats. This initial stage successfully gathered participation from 26 teams and 147 players hailing from across Kosovo. Throughout the two-week competitive period, matches were broadcast nightly, accumulating over five hours of content streamed across platforms like Twitch and YouTube.

This sustained online presence successfully engaged hundreds of active viewers, building significant anticipation for the final showdown. The culmination of the qualifiers promises to bring the competitive action offline. The physical gathering in Dragash solidifies the growing prominence of organized esports within the region.
