Faton Seferi has resigned from his role as deputy director of FC Drenica and has also withdrawn from the agreement related to the club’s privatization and development. In a detailed and personal letter addressed to the citizens of Drenica, the club’s supporters, players, staff, and all associates, Seferi explained that his decision followed a year marked by significant sacrifices, dedication, and numerous challenges. He emphasized that his association with FC Drenica was rooted in a deep affection for the club and the local region.
Seferi initially committed to the club as part of an effort to invest in and reside in Kosovo. This commitment later expanded into the realm of football, an area where he lacked prior managerial experience. According to his statement, the financial difficulties and outstanding debts of the club proved to be substantially larger than initially assessed.
Given these circumstances, Seferi announced his departure. His decision marks a significant transition for FC Drenica as he steps away from his executive and developmental roles within the organization.
