Fires continue in Lezhë and Mirditë, the situation is most problematic in the village of Tenë, active hotspots also on the Kashnjë mountain.

Fires remain an ongoing concern across the Lezhë and Mirditë regions, with the situation described as particularly challenging in the village of Tenë. Multiple active hotspots have been reported throughout the Lezhë district, prompting authorities to deploy personnel and equipment to manage the unfolding incidents. As of the update on August 22, no issues were reported within the Kurbin Municipality.

However, within the Lezhë Municipality, a fire that began in the village of Vrrith in Pukë remains active. This blaze is located on the Kashnjeti mountain, moving toward the villages of Kashnjeti and Kalivaç. The situation at this site is being monitored by three forest service employees and four personnel from the administrative unit.

The challenging topography of the area is reportedly hindering the deployment of specialized firefighting equipment. Furthermore, in the Mirditë Municipality, an active hotspot has been confirmed in the village of Tenë. Authorities are continuing efforts to contain the spread across both districts.

The sustained presence of these hotspots necessitates continuous monitoring and resource allocation to manage the evolving fire situation across the affected mountainous terrain.
