Former Liverpool star reunites with Trabzonspor’s Salahu, but with a higher salary

Al-Hilal striker Darvin Nunez is reportedly set to join Trabzonspor on a loan deal for the upcoming season. According to reports cited by the Saudi newspaper Al-Yaum, which referenced the Turkish media outlet Sozcu, the move is expected to take place during the current summer transfer window. The agreement stipulates that Nunez will continue to receive his full compensation from Al-Hilal, amounting to €22 million annually.

This figure represents a notable increase compared to the current salary of Mohamed Salah, who is reported to earn approximately €17 million. Financially, the structure of the transfer involves shared responsibility regarding Nunez’s wages. While Trabzonspor is slated to cover €8 million of his annual salary, Al-Hilal will be responsible for the remaining €14 million.

The report confirms that this transfer arrangement will not impact Mohamed Salah’s existing contract or compensation package. The details suggest a significant financial commitment from the Saudi club, Al-Hilal, to facilitate the move to Trabzonspor. The arrangement establishes a clear financial framework, defining how the player’s substantial salary will be distributed between the departing club and the acquiring Turkish side for the duration of the loan period.
