These attacks included airports, hospitals, residential areas, markets, schools, industrial sites, and cultural heritage locations.
OCHA notes that despite these attacks, the pilot of a downed F-15 fighter jet was rescued after the aircraft crashed within Iranian territory. According to OCHA’s data, from the start of the conflict until March 30th, over 2,100 civilians have been killed and more than 27,900 injured in Iran. Additionally, over 3.8 million individuals have been affected by the ongoing crisis.
Between the start of the conflict and April 1st, over 115,000 civilian objects have sustained damage, OCHA stated.
