Bedri Hamza, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), confirmed that he has accepted an invitation from Albin Kurti, the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement. The meeting is scheduled for Friday and is part of ongoing efforts aimed at forming new state institutions. Speaking to the media following a leadership meeting of the PDK, Hamza announced his positive response to the invitation.
He specified that the PDK proposed holding the meeting at 9:00 AM at the premises of the Kosovo Parliament. “I returned the message that the Democratic Party of Kosovo is ready for a meeting tomorrow at 9:00 AM at the premises of the Kosovo Parliament,” Hamza stated. Hamza stressed the PDK’s willingness to engage in political discussions.
However, he clarified the focus for such discussions, asserting that the primary agenda should revolve around core state priorities rather than the allocation of governmental positions. “I will act responsibly,” he added. The confirmation of the meeting indicates a step toward dialogue between the two major political entities regarding the country’s institutional framework.
