The Public Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Gostivar has initiated legal proceedings against four individuals from the village of Dobri Doll, located within the Vrapçisht Municipality. The action follows a criminal complaint filed by the Ministry of Interior (MOI). The suspects are alleged to have participated in criminal acts, specifically charges related to endangering the general safety under Article 288, paragraph 3, in conjunction with paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.
The incident occurred on the evening of January 31 at a family courtyard within the village. According to reports, the confrontation took place during a wedding celebration. During this gathering, the four suspects reportedly used firearms, including three pistols and one rifle of unknown make and caliber.
These weapons were discharged into the air, an act that allegedly endangered the lives of several people present at the venue. Following the investigation, the prosecutor’s office has formally requested pre-trial detention for the four individuals. The legal proceedings managed by the Gostivar prosecutor’s office are currently reviewing the evidence pertaining to the use of weapons and the resulting danger to public safety.
