The Regional Water Utility Company, “Mitrovica,” has issued a notice regarding scheduled maintenance activities across its essential infrastructure. The utility has announced comprehensive plans for necessary works on both the potable water supply network and the sewage system within several streets and villages throughout the Municipality of Mitrovica. Specific interventions concerning the water supply network are slated for implementation on “Isak Ibrahimi,” “Tish Daija,” “Ukshin Kovaçica,” and “Sami Gashi” streets.
Furthermore, these water infrastructure upgrades will extend to the villages of Vinar i Epërm, Suhodoll, and Shupkofc. In addition to the water lines, the company has planned sewage network maintenance in the areas of “Mbretëresha Teuta,” “Ilmi Emini,” “Ahmet Krasniqi,” and “Halim Bajgora” streets. Sewage interventions are also scheduled for the villages of Koshtovë and Vaganicë.
KRU “Mitrovica” has advised the public that due to the nature of these necessary interventions, temporary disruptions to the supply of drinking water are possible in all affected zones. Residents are advised to prepare for potential service interruptions as the utility conducts these upgrades to maintain the functionality of the regional water and sewage systems across Mitrovica.
