The Municipal Company “Mitrovica” has announced upcoming maintenance activities involving comprehensive interventions on the region’s critical utility infrastructure, specifically the water supply and sewage networks. These scheduled works are necessary to maintain and improve service reliability across various locations within Mitrovica and surrounding communities. The scope of the planned water network interventions is extensive, covering “Isak Ibrahimi,” “Marie Kraja,” “Tish Daija,” and “Ujësjellësi” streets.
Furthermore, the work will extend into the villages of Koshtovë, Vërnicë, and Zasellë. For the sewage network, interventions will take place along “Shjefën Gjeqovi,” “Ukshin Kovaqica,” “Abdullah Shabani,” “Sami Gashi,” and “Evlia Qelebia” streets. Additional areas scheduled for sewage maintenance include the “Amina” neighborhood and “Mbreti Petar” street.
The Municipal Company advises residents that these necessary infrastructure interventions may result in temporary interruptions to the general water supply. Furthermore, the company has issued a warning that once the water service is restored, the water quality may temporarily appear cloudy. Residents are advised to use caution and prepare for potential service disruptions throughout the duration of the maintenance period.
