The acting Minister of Infrastructure, Dimal Basha, confirmed that rehabilitation efforts are ongoing on the Suharekë–Peqan–Peqan i Vogël road. This project represents a significant investment, totaling 939,808.33 euros, and is being financed by the Kurați Government. The planning and supervision for the road project were managed by the Municipality of Suharekë.
Minister Basha stated that the primary objectives of this infrastructure investment are to enhance road quality, improve communication safety, and facilitate easier movement for the local population. He emphasized the commitment to improving infrastructure across Kosovo. “We continue with investments in the infrastructure of all of Kosovo, for safer roads, easier circulation, and better conditions for citizens,” Basha stated.
The ongoing work on the Suharekë–Peqan–Peqan i Vogël road is expected to yield tangible improvements to the region’s transportation network. Such developments are crucial for supporting daily life and economic activity in the area connecting Suharekë and Peqan.
