KQZ: As of 1:00 PM, 38.97 percent of voters cast ballots at diplomatic missions

The Spokesperson for the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi, provided an update during a conference today detailing the ongoing electoral procedures. Elezi confirmed that the voting process is currently active across 30 diplomatic missions representing Kosovo, which are situated in 18 different countries. He noted that the comprehensive coverage of the election reached all registered polling locations following the commencement of voting in the United States and Canada at 1:00 PM, according to Kosovo local time.

Providing specific data as of 1:00 PM on the 27th, Elezi reported figures compiled from 26 of the participating diplomatic missions. According to the Commission, out of a total of 27,724 registered voters, 10,804 ballots had been cast. This figure represents 38.97 percent of the total registered electorate.

The spokesperson emphasized the widespread nature of the process, confirming that the election activity is proceeding steadily across the international network of missions. This continuous effort underscores the logistical scale of the voting process, which requires coordination across multiple nations to ensure all eligible citizens can participate. The Commission continues to monitor the progress across all established diplomatic outposts to ensure the integrity and continuity of the electoral timeline.
