KRM “Çabrati” asks for forgiveness for liquid leakage from the waste – it also has an appeal to citizens

KRM “Çabrati” has issued a public advisory urging citizens to exercise greater care when disposing of waste, citing recent instances of liquid leakage and unpleasant odors across various areas of the city. The company identified a primary contributing factor to the issue as the disposal of waste into containers without first draining any contained liquids. According to KRM “Çabrati,” the waste collection trucks have limited capacity specifically for collecting these liquids.

Exceeding this designed capacity can lead to leaks occurring during the transportation process. The situation is further compounded by high ambient temperatures, as the combination of waste mixed with substantial amounts of liquid exacerbates both leaks and malodors. While the company attributes the problem to improper disposal practices, local critic Alijaj has sharply criticized the current state of operations at KRM “Çabrati,” stating, “This is not modernization; this is a failure.” KRM “Çabrati” maintains that responsible waste management requires adherence to proper pre-disposal procedures to mitigate these environmental concerns.
