Daut Haradinaj, a deputy and leader of AAK-së, stated that he does not anticipate Lëvizja Vetëvendosje, led by Mayor Kurti, will be eradicated. Haradinaj asserted Kurti’s inability to remove the Vetëvendosje figure entirely. He outlined a strategy involving the dismantling of the opposition, specifically naming individuals he intends to target: Shpend Ahmeti, Dardan Sejdiu, Dukagjin Goranin, Haki Abazin, and numerous others.
Vjosa Osmani is identified as a key target within the Vetëvendosje movement. Haradinaj indicated that the complete elimination of Vetëvendosje is contingent upon securing 300 votes. “No one will be able to eliminate the political figure of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje before the figure of VV-së is eliminated by 300 votes,” Haradinaj declared.
His statements suggest a sustained effort to weaken and ultimately dissolve the Vetëvendosje party’s influence within the political landscape.
