Lamborghini has built its most powerful SUV ever

Nearly a decade has passed since the introduction of the Lamborghini Urus, and the model has undergone significant technological evolution. The original Urus debuted utilizing a twin-turbo V8 engine, a platform that later spawned the high-performance Performante variant. This lineage continues to advance, most recently with the introduction of the Urus SE, which features a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The current iteration, the Urus SE Performante, represents the pinnacle of this line. According to reports, this specialized version builds upon the standard SE, retaining the 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo plug-in hybrid powertrain. However, in true adherence to the spirit of the Performante designation, the model is engineered to deliver enhanced performance metrics.

The Urus SE Performante boasts an output of 800 horsepower and 738 Nm of torque. These figures represent an increase of 11 horsepower and 37 Nm of torque compared to the standard SE model. This enhanced output establishes the Urus SE Performante as a leading contender in the super-SUV segment, making it arguably the world’s fastest super-SUV by measurement.

The continuous refinement demonstrates Lamborghini’s commitment to maintaining a highly powerful and technologically advanced flagship vehicle within the Urus nameplate.
