LAMM: Communication is proceeding on wet roads; there are no delays at border points

According to the League of Automobile and Motorists of Macedonia (LAMM), the state road network is currently maintaining stable communication, even under wet conditions. The organization reported that traffic density on rural roads outside major urban centers remains at a moderate level. Furthermore, delays at border crossings, specifically on the side managed by the RMV, have been significantly reduced for both international entry and exit procedures.

LAMM issued several key recommendations to ensure safe travel across the country’s roads. Drivers are advised to maintain regulated speeds and strictly adhere to all established traffic signals. Particular caution is urged when traversing routes that pass through valleys, river valleys, and steep slopes, due to the ongoing potential risk of mudslides.

The advisory highlighted several specific sections requiring extra vigilance, including the routes connecting Katllanovë to Veles, Mavrovë to Dibër to Strugë, Vinicë to Berovë, and Koçan to Delçevë. These warnings underscore the need for heightened driver awareness when navigating challenging topography. Overall, while general communication across the road system is proceeding without major incidents, adherence to safe driving practices remains paramount for all motorists.
