According to the Macedonian Automobile Association (LAMM), traffic conditions on state roads are currently proceeding without reported issues, provided the roads remain dry. The association noted that traffic intensity in areas outside of major urban centers is moderate. Regarding international crossings, LAMM reported varying conditions at the border.
Specifically, the crossing point known as ‘Bogorodicë’ is experiencing an increased volume of vehicles, resulting in estimated waiting times of 15 to 30 minutes for exiting the area. Conversely, other border points situated on the RMV side are currently reporting no extended delays for both entry and exit procedures. LAMM issued several recommendations for drivers utilizing the state road network.
These include maintaining regulated speeds, strictly adhering to established traffic signals, and exercising heightened caution during vehicle management. Special attention is advised for driving on routes traversing valleys, river valleys, and steep slopes, as these areas carry an increased risk of mudslides. The association specifically highlighted several sections requiring extra vigilance: Katllanovë-Veles, Mavrovë-Dibër-Strugë, Vinicë-Berovë, and Koçan-Delčevo.
LAMM urges all motorists to prioritize safety measures across all state roads to ensure smooth travel throughout the network.
