LAMM: No long waits at border crossings

According to the Land and Infrastructure Mobile Monitoring (LAMM), communication across state roads is currently proceeding without significant issues, particularly on routes characterized by dry conditions. Overall traffic intensity on thoroughfares situated outside major urban centers has been reported as moderate. Furthermore, travelers crossing at the border points on the North Macedonia side have noted that the previously long delays associated with entry and exit from the country have been eliminated.

Despite the generally stable conditions, LAMM continues to issue advisories regarding safe travel practices. Authorities recommend that all motorists adhere to regulated speeds and strictly observe all established traffic signals. Particular caution is advised for vehicle management on specific types of terrain, including roads passing through valleys, river valleys, and steep slopes, due to the persistent possibility of mudslides.

These elevated risk areas include several key sections: Katllanovë-Veles, Mavrovë-Dibër-Strugë, Vinicë-Berovë, and Koçan-Dellçevë. While the current status of the main roads network is manageable, adherence to these safety guidelines remains paramount for all drivers. The guidance provided by LAMM underscores the necessity of proactive and careful driving habits to ensure the continued smooth operation of transportation links across the region.
