LSDM: According to Mickoski, Macedonia is a paradise, but let’s ask the citizens how they are living in these last two years

The opposition party, LSDM, criticized the ruling OBRM-PDUKM party following the latter’s declaration that tourism is a key governmental strategic priority and that existing policies have yielded visible results. During a media conference, Deputy Aleksandar Jamalov, representing the opposition party, presented data intended to showcase improvements in the sector. Jamalov noted that specific measures were enhancing tourist infrastructure, upgrading air, road, and rail connections, fostering an environment conducive to new investments, and providing robust support for the development of rural tourism.

However, the opposition party questioned the ruling party’s claims of economic expansion. LSDM publicly dismissed the administration’s assertions, stating that their focus appeared misdirected. Specifically, the opposition party remarked that, regarding the current leadership, “the border is the sky.” LSDM further criticized the actions of the ruling party, characterizing the administration and its associates as undermining the nation’s interests.

The exchange highlighted a political dispute over the perceived successes and strategic direction of the country’s tourism sector between the two major political factions.
