LSDM: The state put Gruevski’s properties up for sale, but he is enjoying luxury abroad and is not cooperating with the judicial authorities

LSDM has accused the state of attempting to sell property seized from former Prime Minister Nikolla Gruevski. According to the party, the assets slated for sale include apartments and real estate valued at several million euros. The opposition party contrasted this action with the current economic situation facing citizens, citing low incomes and general economic difficulties.

LSDM stated that the property in question was seized from Gruevski, while the party maintains that Gruevski possesses significantly larger assets, including real estate located abroad. The party highlighted the disparity between the sale of these assets and the economic struggles of the general populace. The core of the allegation centers on the timing of the property liquidation.

LSDM argued that the state is moving to sell assets belonging to Gruevski, who, they claim, has left the country and resides in Hungary. The party further alleged that Gruevski has not returned to face potential legal proceedings in Idrizovë. The opposition framed the attempted sale as evidence of improper governance.

They emphasized that the process of selling multi-million euro properties occurs concurrently with reports of widespread economic distress among the citizenry. This juxtaposition forms the basis of LSDM’s criticism regarding the actions of the state concerning the assets of Gruevski.
