Man armed at family celebration, criminal indictment against police officer in Macedonia

R.R., a police officer stationed at the Çashkë Border Surveillance Police Station. The basis for the criminal action is the suspicion that Mr. R.R.

committed the offense of “endangering the general safety,” as stipulated under Article 288, paragraph 3 of the Penal Code. According to the filing, the incident occurred on May 22, 2026. The complaint alleges that the accused police officer introduced an unspecified item into the yard of his family residence during a family celebration, an event attended by a large number of guests.
