Man throws weapon without police presence; 40-year-old interviewed in Ferizaj

The Kosovo police have launched a case concerning an individual in Ferizaj for “Unauthorized possession, control, or keeping of weapons.” According to an official police statement, the incident occurred around 11:45 PM after police received information that an individual at a property on Rexhep Bislimi street was observed possessing a firearm. Upon receiving the tip, police units responded immediately and arrived at the location. Officers subsequently identified the suspect and escorted him to the police station to undergo further processing.

During the course of the investigation at the scene, the police recovered the firearm. It is believed that the suspect discarded the weapon upon noticing the police presence. Authorities seized a pistol and three cartridges at the site.

Following the necessary procedures, the state prosecutor made a decision regarding the suspect. The police continue to investigate the matter to determine the full extent of the unauthorized possession.
