Mickoski: By today or tomorrow, the water in Gostivar will be technically usable

Prime Minister Christian Mickoski provided an update regarding the restoration of the water supply system in Gostivar. He reported that specialized “Waterworks” teams dispatched from Skopje are currently engaged in the municipality. The focus of the effort is the completion of the hyperchlorination process across the waterworks system installations.

Mickoski expressed confidence in the timeline for service resumption, anticipating that the water in Gostivar will be “technically usable” either today or tomorrow. While acknowledging that current results are positive, he stated that a formal announcement confirming the water’s technical suitability for use is expected tomorrow, noting that the process has been completed within a record timeframe of one week. He affirmed the government’s continued commitment to addressing the infrastructure needs.

In addition to the technical updates, the Prime Minister addressed the political landscape. He remarked on the opposition’s current silence, noting that they have not issued any criticism concerning the municipality or the leadership that supported them during the recent local elections. The focus of the government’s current efforts remains on ensuring the reliable flow of potable water to the residents.
