A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident in the Gjorce Petrov neighborhood of Skopje yesterday. The incident occurred on April 21, 2026, at approximately 2:00 PM at the intersection of “Gjorce Petrov” and “Makedonski vojski” streets. According to the Ministry of Interior, the accident involved a motorcycle, bearing Skopje license plates and operated by an individual identified as Sh.Sh., aged 44, from the village of Vollkovë.
The motorcyclist was struck by a passenger car, whose driver subsequently fled the scene of the accident. Upon arrival at the scene, a team from the SPB Skopje conducted an investigation. The injured motorcyclist was transported to the “8 Shtatori” General City Hospital in Skopje, where medical personnel diagnosed the serious injuries.
