MPB: 15 arrests for dangerous driving, 8 without licenses, 4 under the influence of alcohol

In the past 24 hours, law enforcement agencies reported detaining fifteen individuals nationwide in connection with incidents of careless driving. The arrests revealed a pattern of multiple traffic violations among the detained persons. Of the total number of individuals apprehended, eight were found operating vehicles without a valid driver’s license.

Notably, four of those individuals were minors. Furthermore, four separate cases involved drivers operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol. Beyond these primary violations, other documented incidents involved instances of careless driving that occurred independently of active police traffic stops, or combinations of the aforementioned infractions.

Following the comprehensive documentation and processing of all these cases, appropriate criminal charges are slated to be filed against the respective individuals. The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a formal appeal to the public regarding adherence to traffic regulations. Authorities stressed the critical importance of all drivers respecting established traffic laws.

Specifically, the ministry cautioned against operating a vehicle without the requisite license, engaging in driving activities during active police stops, or operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. These measures underscore the ongoing commitment to public safety and adherence to safe driving practices across the country.
