According to official reports, the injury occurred during an incident at a water slide facility while the individual was on vacation in the Turkish resort area of Kuşadası.
Following the incident, the patient underwent initial surgical intervention at a local hospital in Turkey on April 23. He remained at this facility for initial stabilization and treatment protocols. Due to the severity of the injury and based on medical recommendations received from healthcare providers in Turkey, the Ministry of Health initiated comprehensive coordination among relevant institutions to manage the subsequent medical transfer.
