Explosion in Skenderaj Results in Minor Injuries
Skenderaj, Albania – An explosion involving two gas cylinders occurred in Skenderaj on Sunday, resulting in injuries to a young boy. According to police reports, a fire was deliberately set by an individual, leading to the detonation of the gas cylinders. The incident, which occurred at approximately 15:00 on April 5th, has prompted a full investigation.
A minor, male child sustained physical injuries as a result of the explosion. He was immediately transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) for treatment. Following medical intervention, the child was discharged.
Police officials confirmed that the individual responsible for starting the fire is currently under investigation. Authorities are proceeding with standard investigative procedures. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
