Nisin investments for improving the water supply in Malishevë, first phase with a value of 315 thousand euros

The Municipality of Malisheva has initiated the preliminary stages of an infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving its drinking water supply system. The commencement of this effort involves an initial investment totaling 315,000 euros. Artane Rizvanolli, the acting Minister of Economy, announced that this development is facilitated by a formal agreement established between the Ministry of Economy and the regional entity, “Southern Hydroregion.” Rizvanolli confirmed that this agreement enables the launch of the first phase of the necessary investments for the town’s water infrastructure.

This initial funding represents a segment of a much larger, comprehensive project valued at over 7 million euros. The first two planned phases, combined, are slated to reach a value of 3.6 million euros. The scope of work designated for this initial stage includes critical infrastructure replacements, specifically the upgrading of pumps, alongside the construction of a new reservoir.

The involvement of the Ministry of Economy underscores the strategic governmental commitment to bolstering regional utility services. The phased approach ensures that the necessary improvements are implemented systematically, managing the scale of the investment while ensuring a continuous supply of potable water for the community. This multi-stage investment plan is designed to modernize the entire water network, addressing long-term supply reliability for Malisheva.
