OBRM-PDUKM: LSDM and BDI, even from the opposition, are trying to stop the reform process

OBRM-PDUKM has issued a statement accusing the LSDM and BDI of obstructing crucial reform processes, even when operating from the opposition. According to the statement, the actions taken by the LSDM and BDI are impeding legislation deemed necessary for the nation’s reform agenda. OBRM emphasized that the reforms in question are presented as matters of national interest to the citizens and the state, rather than partisan political disputes.

The party asserted that the opposition’s current actions reflect poorly on Macedonia, a sentiment they claim the public is aware of. Furthermore, OBRM highlighted the duration of the LSDM and BDI’s tenure in government, noting that they have been in power for seven years without achieving significant reform implementation. Instead of assisting in the swift advancement of necessary changes, Mickoski’s party stated that the LSDM and BDI are opting for political blockades.

The core of OBRM’s critique centers on the perceived lack of cooperation regarding systemic reform. The party contends that both the LSDM and BDI must recognize that genuine progress requires moving beyond political disagreement to facilitate necessary legislative reforms. This accusation frames the ongoing legislative deadlock as a direct consequence of the opposition parties’ resistance to implementing reforms beneficial to the country’s development.
